Who I am
My name is John Dement and I have lived in Scotland for 27 years. I'm American and I married a girl from Uddingston 37 years ago.
We have two daughters who are grown and living near London. If you have a couple of hours I will tell you how wonderful they are.
I have been working with wood since I was 12, so that's 44 years and a couple of scars of experience. I love a challenge and will consider most jobs. I set up my own business to because I think customer care is important and I wasn't satisfied with the way things were being done. Also I get to do a wider variety of jobs, from fixing a cabinet door to doing loft conversions.Most weeks bring something new.
What We Do
I am a small local business building and renovating staircases, completing loft conversions, repairs and odd jobs. With 26 years experience in design, building and installing of stairs, I enjoy working with my customers to make their vision a reality. Whether you are looking for a refurbishment of an existing staircase. a simple staircase, or a statement designer staircase I can help.
I love the challenge and have also built and installed windows, doors, and things no one else wanted to try. I take pride in my work and have a reputation of being able to find solutions to make things fit.
